TEAMWORK WORKS @ LVC!

July 10, 2020. Every day of our lives we interact with each other. We do work and achieve our daily goals with the help of each and every one! And yes, we are most often than not, a team which moves towards achieving our SHARED GOALS! Today, the LVC-Cubao girls have enjoyed and learned about teamwork! Through play, the girls were able to define T.E.A.M themselves and identify the values of the team. What transpired the most is the importance of TRUST, INCLUSIVITY (MEMBERSHIP), COOPERATION, and MOTIVATING OTHERS with the help of the team members!

Events Management Webinar

Webinar, Zoom meeting, google classroom, and fb room… part of the New Normal… still, LVF is unstoppable!  Thanks to people who share our common cause for the empowerment of these young ladies.  They never hesitated to share their expertise in the field they excel at and patiently accompanied them to ‘birth’ new ideas/concepts and so paved the new path for them to believe in themselves and their capacity to achieve meaningful projects.  With grateful hearts we salute you Ms. Cristina Martinez, CEO of CLM Events Management! To our surprise she posted in her social media account her heart felt experience with us, here it is: –

“A few weeks ago, I was requested to conduct an events management webinar for the girls of Laura Vicuna Foundation. The first session was to teach them how to organize a simple event. After the lecture, I gave them an assignment and agreed to e-meet again so they can present their concept paper. Two weeks later, as they were getting ready to give their presentation as a group, I noticed their smiling but nervous faces, and honestly, I didn’t know what to expect. I was also nervous because I was unsure if I was able to teach them properly. I’m not a teacher and don’t have any experience giving talks. But these girls are smart and I was impressed with their presentations considering the limited information that they have. Salute to Sr Ana Guerrero and everyone behind the Laura Vicuna Foundation, you are all HEROES to these girls. Thank you for giving them a chance to heal and live a better life. I pray that more people will support your foundation so you can help more girls who need a safe and loving environment. God bless your kind and loving hearts! ❤️ #nationalheroesday
