An out-pouring of blessings this 2019 is equal to an untiring commitment for Child and Youth Protection and Empowerment! The Laura Vicuña Foundation considered the 29,736 children, youth and parents reached not just an ‘add’ to the statistics of clients served, but now ‘active partners’ in our mission and advocacy. The twenty-nine thousand seven hundred thirty-six (29,736) children and parents served in Negros Occidental, Cebu, Palawan, Laguna, Pampanga and the National Capital Region by its lay mission partners, children and youth partners and the Salesian Sisters. Twenty-eight thousand three hundred fifty-four (28,354) has been benefited by LVF’s one-time advocacy programs while one thousand three hundred eighty-four (1,384) by its regular programs. Through hard work, dedication and teamwork, LVF has put to heart its duty to have a wide reach of children and youth most importantly in far flung areas, establishing a caring and protective environment for them and those under difficult circumstances. Together, we let our voices be heard to intensify safety and protection issues.
